Water-Guard Extreme Benefits
Water-Guard® EXtreme provides 3 way protection for outdoor fabrics
Water repellent: Excellent durability thru 50 consecutive tests. This test data is determined by running the standard ASTM Water Spray Test D-1913 again and again for 50 minutes. Other products fail in 10 minutes or less. Water-Guard® Extreme maintains a score of 90 or higher on all 3 materials for 50 tests (50 minutes).
Ultraviolet UVA & UVB Protection: Extends life of fabrics and colors.
Test is performed on White Cotton Broadcloth (TestFabric® #419) In accordance with test method AATCC 183. UPF is determined from measure of UVA & UVB transmittance thru fabric (not by reddening of skin).
Water-Guard® Extreme is surpassed only by our permanent non-repellent UV Treatments, U-V-Killer® for Hunting wear and U-V-Block® for Clothing, Tents, Outdoor Textiles, Boat Covers, etc.
Mold, Mildew, Protection: Contains Fungicide to control Discoloration and Odor of invisible coating caused by Mold, Mildew, Fungus, and Algae.
